Adelene Flecther｜藝術家簡介

Adelene Fletcher is a British watercolour artist trained at Manchester College of Art in the late 1950s. After working in a textile design studio and later as a design consultant, she developed a distinctive command of composition and colour that continues to define her practice. Highly versatile in subject and technique, she is especially known for florals—an enduring fascination rooted in her childhood on a secluded country lane in Surrey, and now expressed through large, vividly coloured blooms such as poppies and sunflowers. In recent years she has become best known for watercolour, exhibiting at prestigious venues including the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Royal Watercolour Society, alongside recognition and awards; she also teaches and writes/illustrates her own art books.
